Thank you for visiting PlusNine Productions. I'm David Fogelman and PlusNine Productions was created with 2 goals in mind; to produce outstanding audio and to provide an outlet for our artists to promote their music.
My love for music and recording began at an early age. When I graduated High School my parents bought me an awesome Yamaha 4 track, some reverb units, a Norelco microphone and an Alesis drum machine. I hooked it up to my crappy stereo system and my first studio was born. I was the only kid with recording gear and the demand for my services grew exponentially. I was recording every type of music and loving every minute of it.

I began my professional music career after college as a touring guitarist for a rock band. I spent 5 years playing the New York City music scene and 3 years touring the east coast. The band finally imploded when the money ran out so I went to The Institute of Audio Research in New York for an engineering degree. I immediately started as an intern at Pilot Recording Studios and worked my way up to staff engineer.
I was given the opportunity to work on almost ever genre of music and learned not only the art of engineering but the art of producing. During this time, I began playing guitar for an amazing band called Arockalypse and The Amazing TransmetropoIitans (see iTunes).

I left Pilot Recording Studios began mastering and restoration work for Tuff City Music Group. My longtime friend/engineer/musician George Howard who was head engineer at Tuff City and I began collaborating on many projects and soon decided to start our own company, PlusNine Productions.
